In 1997, Bethel Suites Assisted Living was added to the continuum of services provided by Bethel Lutheran Home, Inc. The goal of assisted living is to provide care while encouraging independence in the residents who live there. Residents must be independent or require minimal assistance with daily tasks.

Each assisted living suite is 420 square feet and includes a kitchenette, living area, bedroom and private bathroom. Residents furnish their own suite to make it feel like home. The facility has common areas which include a day room equipped with TV, VCR and a billiard table, sitting areas for visiting, game areas for activities, and a dining room in which menus prepared by the Bethel Home kitchen are served.

Should a resident need other services within the Bethel Community, they are given priority consideration for admission into the apartments, the nursing facility, or the adult day service program.
