Our History

Bethel Lutheran Community was founded in the late 1950s by a group of Lutheran congregations that recognized a growing need for living options for seniors.

Now, more than 60 years later, Bethel has evolved into a continuum of care facility with living options that fit each individual, regardless of the stage of life.

 Our Campus

The Bethel Community is located on Egan Avenue along the south edge of Madison.

Surrounded by open farmland to the west and the 4-H grounds to the east, our campus offers peaceful, scenic views in a quiet, retreat-like setting. At the same time, residents enjoy convenient access to shopping, churches, and health care services nearby.

Our Mission

Sharing Christ Through Caring Service

At Bethel, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate, Christ-centered care that supports the best possible quality of life in a changing world. We warmly welcome residents of all faith backgrounds and strive to create a place where everyone feels at home.

Our goal is to offer a comfortable, supportive community where people can age in place with confidence, knowing their needs will continue to be met as their level of care changes over time.
