Our Team

Kathy Holland, a Brookings native, earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota. After beginning her career as a social worker and social work consultant, she transitioned into long-term care administration, serving first as a nursing home administrator in Arlington, South Dakota. Throughout her career, Kathy has held leadership roles in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for quality care.

Kathy is actively involved with the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living Quality Award Program. She is excited to help Bethel Lutheran Home continue its commitment to excellence and work toward achieving this prestigious recognition.

Kathy and her husband, John, have three grown children and are delighted to be back in South Dakota, closer to their three grandchildren. In her free time, Kathy enjoys reading, crafting, bike riding, and traveling.
